Parents Guide to Mental Toughness

Parents Guide to Mental Toughness

Some say that athletics (golf especially) is a game of 15% skill and 85% Mental Toughness. In today’s YG101 Podcast we talk to an expert on Mental Toughness, author of 4 books on mental toughness, speaker and mental toughness trainer, Dr. Rob Bell. In his latest book, “Don’t Should on Your Kids” Dr.Bell again deals with mental toughness but instead of dealing with the individual’s mental toughness, this book deals with the youth athlete’s parents. How can Parents help their youth athlete develop mental toughness, drive and or work ethic? Listen in as Dr. Rob Bell and I chat about the parents roll in helping our kids develop this most important quality.
